The Director, Enterprise Sales owns direct sales throughout the assigned region and industry. This role is externally facing and accountable for driving growth through the confident ability to close SAAS+ (SAAS subscription with well-scoped service component) deals from 350K-1.5M with enterprise institutions. The position has an upbeat, energetic, and competitive style with advanced skills and a proven track record in influencing through consultation. The role partners with internal teams such as client implementation, legal/compliance, product, engineering, and executive leadership to prospect, qualify, scope, sell, & transition to implementation. The candidate has a strong command of enterprise sales, data analytics, business analysis, SAAS products, project management, & consultative solution selling. Ideal Profile

  • Have before (direct sales success as rep or solution architect for a middleware/gateway technology provider), or
  • 2-5 years leading implementation of technology middleware/gateway initiatives involving accessing and structuring unstructured data in a complex compliance environment and a deep technical foundation (e.g. computer science) looking to grow


  • Leading complex sales cycles engaging with C-level buyers and engaging internal partners at DemystData from opportunity to close
  • Identifies prospective clients, through the use of cold calling and referrals from existing clients
  • Acts as the key point of contact for our accounts to demonstrate the full solution set of DemystData’s offerings
  • Manage existing client business and relationships to retain and grow
  • Monitors and understand the industries we serve, identify trends and translate them into opportunities for our solutions
  • Observes and interacts with administration and production operations to oversee job completion
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in partnership with leadership & finance
  • Creation of presentations, proposals and RFP responses
  • Coordinates the contract process from initiation to closing
  • Analytically map the current costs and quantify the incremental benefit of implementing analytical labs or gateway solutions
  • Define and compare incremental benefits vs in house or market solutions
  • Produce and present custom sales presentations articulating the go to workflow and implications for each specific prospect


  • BA/BS (or MA/MS) in Economics, Business, Finance, Psychology, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or relevant field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quota
  • Experience selling into the Financial Service (Banking and/or Insurance) vertical preferred
  • Strong ability to influence C-suite level through consultation and solution selling
  • Solid project management expertise and demonstrated experience
  • Advanced business analysis skills
  • Previous training in and experience with a sales methodology
  • Strong technical foundation; ability to use CRM, Office, social tools, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication, time management and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel to clients and prospects
