At DemystData, we know that compliance and visibility is a key goal for our clients and partners. That’s why we’re excited to share an update that was highly requested by administrators. Our updated admin page is an easier and more secure way to manage users and APIs, configure organization preferences, and monitor user activity. The redesign gives admins more control over their organization and how they want to manage their team’s activity end to end.
More control over how your team accesses third-party data.
To start, a long awaited addition to our admin features is the ability for organization admins to configure file expiration timeframes for data input files and batches (input files enriched against a set of providers), to ensure that your data usage on the Demyst platform is compliant with internal security standards. The default file expiration time frame is still 30 days but organization admins now have the option to change the configuration to the following: (in days) 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90, 180, 365, persist.
With access to a platform activity audit log, admins can validate and monitor activity, and maintain information integrity. It gives you the granularity you need to troubleshoot any issues you may encounter or to get a holistic view of what data your team is accessing and when.
Our detailed audit log includes date and timestamp for activities like:
- file uploads
- batches (runs, status updates, and downloads, including providers run)
- users (role changes, activation, password changes, TOS changes)
- workspaces created or deleted
- data functions created and updated
Data Spend Approval
Depending on your organizational hierarchy, you might not want all users to have the ability to spend credits to append data without approval from an admin. Now, you are able to turn on data spend approval so only users with the appropriate permissions can approve the allocation of credits in each batch run.
Updates to Existing Functionality
A simpler, streamlined process for managing organizational settings
Admins now have the ability to change user roles and permissions within their organization without having to go through various touch points with the Demyst team. They can also easily activate and deactivate users to comply with changing info-sec requirements or to manage seats as team members are added to or removed from the project.
More advanced configurations like API keys and data provider credentials now have their own section where admins can quickly find the information they need without having to sort through basic settings. We’ve also made it easier to distinguish between active users, new users pending approval, and users invited by the org admin.
As we continue to improve our infrastructure and platform functionality, we’d love to hear your feedback. Please contact us at email@example.com to share your thoughts or for more information about this feature.
